Welcome to our May Blog Hop featuring home decor creations.  To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle from My Creations with Michelle . If you came from Angie's Creative Craftastic Corner then you are in the right place!

I wanted to show you one of my favourite pieces of home decor that I have.  This Designed Decor, Colonial White Frame with Honeycomb Wire was a gift that I received after having served on the Close To My Heart Advisory Board last year.  This photo reminds me of the time spent with these fabulous women, working to make CTMH an even better place for customers and consultants alike.

The entire project is based on the Kraft cardstock with hand stitching shown on the front & then backed with an identical piece of Kraft cardstock, attached with 3D Foam Tape so that it stays nicely on the wire of the frame.

All the cuts for this frame are from the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  They also used the stamp set that came in the collection along with C1561 One Way Borders.

I love how they mixed individual papers from two paper packs as they go together quite easily.  Babycakes & Sarita are super fun & versatile paper packs.

The cardstock colours used on this project are Kraft, Ruby, Lagoon, Colonial White, Creme Brulee and Black.

Accessories featured are Black Shimmer Trim, Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape, Black Mini Medley Accent Collections, Black & Grey bakers twine, Slate striped twist ties and Keyboard Kraft Alphabet.

Inks used for stamping are black & Archival Black.  Ink used for edge distressing on the patterned papers & photos is Chocolate Distress Ink, which is chalk based.

I'll always hold dear to me & close to my heart some of the greatest friends that I'll ever know.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Jan's Work of Heart.  If you get lost along the way, you can head to My Creations with Michelle , as she has the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring Fancy Fold Cards  So mark June 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.
